winter warmer workout

This cold snap has had me hiding under the covers! This workout will raise the temperature, for sure.

Two sets of HIIT. Set one, 4 rounds of the following 5 exercises (a total of 20 minutes: 10 seconds rest, 50 seconds maximum reps):

  • Sandbag squat with knee tuck
  • Side plank lift, alternating sides
  • Reverse pushups
  • Reptile knee tucks alternating sides  (start in the plank position and take one leg off the floor bringing the knee out to the side and towards the elbow. Bring the leg back to the starting plank position and switch sides)
  • Hanging knee raises

Set two comprises of 12 minutes interval skipping (10 seconds rest, 50 seconds moderate skipping)

Only 32 minutes long! Is it getting hot in here, or is it just me?
