mid-week workout

It is Wednesday (aptly know as Mittwoch in Germany meaning, literally, mid-week – polishes glasses).

To celebrate getting this far, I think it is time for another heart pounding, sweat inducing, deity cursing (optional) workout.

Today I am thinking time trial. How many rounds of the following 5 exercises can you do in 15 minutes?

  • 10 Medicine ball jump lunges
  • 10 Sandbag or weighted single leg dead lifts (L)
  • 10  Sandbag single leg dead lifts (R)
  • 10 Star Burpees. Squat down and jump into star plank, perform a push up, jump back into a squat then do a star jump! yay burpees!
  • 10 Plank sandbag drag under with two reptile knee tucks. Start in the plank with the sandbag to one side of you. Reach under with the opposite arm and drag the bag under you to the other side. Perform 2 reptile knee tucks, one on each side. Repeat.

That should do it!
