Vladimir Zatsiorsky

As part of my job, I can commonly be seen chewing my lip buried in a copy of Kinetics of Human Motion by Vladimir M. Zatsiorsky. It is one of my go to books on biomechanics. Vladimir Zatsiorsky is one of the worlds most respected sports scientists and author of the Biomechanics of Human Motion Series, including the afore mentioned book, Kinematics of Human Motion and Biomechanics of Skeletal Muscles.

As you can imagine, I was very excited to see this interview.

Enjoy!

  1. I was introduced to Mr. Zatsiorsky back when I was studying kinesiology years ago. The study of human motion is a passion of mine and the way to which he so eloquently and simply describes how we fundamentally move is inspiring. It’s one thing to know “stuff” quite another to take infinitely complex material digestible to people, well like me- A simple dude. 😉
    Be well today!
